I continue to share with you recipes for simple and delicious quick snacks. Today I propose to prepare and try delicious, tender and aromatic rolls of ham, cheese and eggs with garlic. To prepare this cold appetizer you will need very little time, and the result will definitely please you. Make these rolls in advance, store them in the refrigerator, and then serve them on the holiday table so that your guests don’t get bored while waiting for the main course.

If you chop the ham and boil the eggs in the evening, you can make these rolls in just a few minutes. On the eve of the Holy Day, this is more than relevant, isn’t it, hostesses? Every minute of time is precious, you don’t have time to do anything, and at the same time you want to re-cook everything in the world... By the way, have you already baked Easter cakes or are you still thinking about which homemade recipe to make them with?

Ingredients:

Cooking the dish step by step with photos:

This simple and delicious snack recipe includes ham, cheese, eggs, mayonnaise and fresh garlic. You can use absolutely any ham - for example, I used chicken. The cheese that you like best is also suitable - Russian, Dutch, Poshekhonsky and so on. I always highly recommend using homemade mayonnaise - it's ready in minutes. Determine the amount of garlic according to your taste preferences. You can put a little, taste and, if necessary, add more.

First of all, let's put the chicken eggs to boil hard - 9-10 minutes after boiling over low heat, then immediately under cold running water, so that they cool faster and are easier to clean. The ham should be cut into thin slices of equal thickness - preferably no more than 2-3 millimeters. It’s unlikely to be possible to do this carefully at home, so don’t be shy and ask the seller about it - they have special shredder devices. It's just that if you cut thicker, the ham will crack and break when rolled.

When the eggs are boiled, peel them and separate the whites from the yolks. Grind them separately on the finest grater (not for potato pancakes, but with the smallest holes). In the Mimosa Layered Salad recipe, I told you how you can turn pale yolks into a bright, rich yellow.

All that remains is to assemble our snack rolls. Take a slice of ham and spread it with garlic mayonnaise. You don't need much.

Place a mixture of cheese and egg whites on one edge. Of course, you can immediately mix the filling and garlic mayonnaise, but believe me, adding them separately will make the finished rolls much more tender and airy.

Roll the ham with the filling into a tight roll. The mayonnaise will help the edges stick together well, but still place it on the seam.

Ham rolls will ideally complement a festive feast or a formal buffet menu, and the spectacular appearance, as well as the amazing taste of the dish, will be the best motivation for such use. Varying the composition of the filling will allow you to diversify the already rich assortment of gourmet snacks.
